Cooden Beach Sports and Social Club (CBSSC) is a thriving sports club located close to Cooden and Little Common in the western part of Bexhill, East Sussex. We have 6 outdoor tennis courts, 4 of which are floodlit, and 3 squash courts.
Our clubhouse was completely rebuilt in 2000 and has 2 large (fully air conditioned) function rooms, kitchen, lively bar area, sauna and spacious changing facilities with showers.

The club was founded in 1969 as a tennis club by an enthusiastic group of local people who acquired the site and built 4 tennis courts on it. A small pavilion was also erected. The club quickly expanded with a new and larger clubhouse erected in 1971, a fifth tennis court and 2 squash courts in 1977 and a further squash court in 1980. The club also changed its name to reflect its location and all the activities it encompasses.
We have a membership of about 400 people. This includes adult and junior tennis and squash members and social members who come to take part in other activities such as yoga and/or the various social events that are organised.
